Shine Panel Care

Shine Panel Care is a family-owned Brisbane business specialising in solar panel bird proofing and professional solar panel cleaning. We stop pigeons nesting under rooftop solar systems using 304 stainless steel mesh fitted with non-penetrative clips, so panels and roofs are never drilled and manufacturer warranties stay intact. Every installation includes nest and debris removal, a decontamination spray and a 10-year warranty on the mesh. We also provide commercial and strata bird proofing (SWMS available), thermal imaging scans and DIY mesh kits. With more than 2,600 homes serviced across Greater Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redcliffe, Moreton Bay and the northern Gold Coast, we offer up-front pricing and same-week bookings.

Harry and Heath started the business after repeatedly seeing the same failures on Brisbane rooftops: mesh that worked loose within months, galvanised wire that rusted and stained roof tiles, and operators who took payment and disappeared when the pigeons came back. That frustration is the reason the company exists, and it shapes what goes on the roof.

The fix is 304-grade stainless steel mesh held by non-penetrative clips. Nothing is drilled into the roof or the panel frames, which is what keeps a solar manufacturer’s warranty intact. The mesh and clips carry a 10-year product warranty of their own.

Pricing is set before work starts rather than after. Every job begins with a fixed price, currently advertised from $23 per metre, and the same standard applies regardless of the suburb or the size of the array. When the install is done the crew photographs and films the finished work and sends the full record with the warranty paperwork, usually the same day.

Beyond bird proofing, the team handles solar panel cleaning to clear dirt, droppings and grime off panels, and runs commercial and strata programs for buildings where access and scheduling matter as much as the work itself. There is also a DIY mesh kit for homeowners who would rather fit it themselves.

Technicians are trained and insured and work to Queensland working-at-heights standards. The company reports more than 2,600 customers served and over 400 five-star reviews.
