The brand’s history starts in Calgary. In 1969 Don Martin was running a multi-truck HVAC service business here when commercial clients began asking who could clean their ductwork. He brought one of the first duct cleaning trucks to Western Canada that same year. In 2001 he and his son Lane launched Modern Furnace and Air Duct Cleaning in Kelowna, and the network grew from there. The Calgary franchise now operates from 416 Meridian Rd SE.

Work is split between homes and buildings. Residential covers air duct cleaning, furnace cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and indoor air quality testing. Commercial extends to high-rise and multi-unit ventilation, retail and office HVAC, restoration projects, property management portfolios, schools, hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Two practical details. Every duct cleaning is backed by a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. And you do not need to hover — technicians can complete the job as long as they have access to the HVAC system and the vents.

Beyond Calgary, the location serves Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Chestermere, Crossfield and Beiseker. The Calgary branch shows a 4.9 rating across 1,785 reviews; the network reports more than 13,000 five-star reviews across Canada and the United States.

The company also backs PURKIDS, an initiative supporting children in the communities it serves.
