RGD Concrete Services INC

RGD Concrete Services INC is a licensed pool, concrete, and masonry contractor serving Los Angeles County and Southern California. Led by master contractor Lupe Banuelos, we design and build custom 4,000 PSI shotcrete swimming pools, integrated spas, travertine pool decks, coping, concrete patios, and outdoor masonry.
Our team manages each project from site planning and excavation through structural steel reinforcement, shotcrete installation, tile, decking, and final finishing. RGD Concrete Services INC is California CSLB licensed, bonded, and insured under license #994700.

Master builder Lupe Banuelos brings more than forty years of hands-on experience to this shop, and the technical spec he publishes is unusually specific for a pool contractor: every shell is placed at 4,000 PSI shotcrete strength, with masonry crews kept in-house rather than subbed out.

That in-house structure is the differentiator worth understanding. On most residential pool jobs the shell, the tile, the coping and the decking pass through three or four different subcontractors, and the seams between them are where schedule and quality problems live. Here the same crew carries the work from site planning and excavation through structural steel reinforcement, shotcrete placement, tile, decking and final finishing.

Decking options are laid out by performance rather than by look alone. Travertine is offered because it stays cool underfoot in direct sun. Flagstone is offered for natural texture with genuine non-slip grip. Pavers are offered because interlocking patterns can be lifted and repaired without tearing out a slab. Those are the trade-offs an owner actually has to weigh in a Los Angeles backyard.

Alongside new pool construction the company handles pool remodeling, standalone shotcrete work, custom masonry and demolition, working across Los Angeles County and the wider Southern California market.

Contracts are fixed-price with no hidden extras, and the crew commits to leaving the yard clean at the end of each day — a small promise that matters more than it sounds like on a build that runs weeks. Work follows California State License Board rules and local city building codes, under active CSLB license #994700, bonded and insured.
