KLR Shopfitters

KLR Shopfitters provides rapid emergency shutter repair London services for businesses that cannot afford to wait. A broken roller shutter can leave your shop, warehouse, or commercial unit exposed to theft, weather, and unwanted entry. Our team responds quickly to calls and works to get your shutters back in working order as fast as possible.

The typical caller is a shop, warehouse or commercial unit that cannot lock up. Sometimes that is a forced entry overnight; more often it is a motor, curtain or bottom rail that has simply stopped working at closing time. KLR operates from 48 Campden Crescent in Dagenham and covers London from there, with the company also stating nationwide coverage across the UK.

The repair side runs around the clock on two mobile lines, and the stated position is that an engineer can attend day or night. Alongside reactive call-outs, the company offers planned shutter maintenance — its own argument being that regular servicing is what stops the 6pm failure happening in the first place — and full shutter replacement where a unit is past economic repair. Emergency glass replacement and boarding up are handled by the same team, which matters when a shopfront needs to be made secure before a glazier can be scheduled.

What gets installed

The shutter range is broken out by type rather than sold as one product: solid, perforated, insulated, punch hole and grille shutters, plus roller garage doors. Perforated and grille options suit retail frontages where a display still needs to read at night; insulated units go in where thermal performance or noise is part of the brief.

Shopfronts are offered in aluminium, toughened glass and timber, with automatic doors and internal office partitions available as part of the same package. Signage is in-house too — 3D built-up letters, projection signs and stencil-cut work — along with awnings and canopies. For a fit-out contractor that means frontage, security, glazing and signage can sit with one subcontractor rather than four.
