At Ewing & Ewing Air Conditioning, our contractors strive to address your HVAC service needs without exceeding your budget. With this goal in mind, we offer honest opinions regarding HVAC services and, if necessary, installation of new AC, heating, and duct equipment.

A few operational details that matter more than the service list when a system quits in July.

Emergency service runs 24/7. Both emergency air conditioning service and emergency heating service are published as distinct offerings rather than as an after-hours surcharge on a normal call, and the main line for them is 561-220-6484.

The brand range is unusually wide for an independent contractor. Rheem, American Standard, Carrier, Daikin, Goodman, Lennox, Mitsubishi Electric, Ruud, Samsung and Trane are all carried. Rheem is stocked in depth for replacements in the greater West Palm Beach area, and Mitsubishi Electric is the name behind most of the ductless mini-split work. Carrying ten brands rather than one manufacturer’s line means a repair recommendation is less likely to arrive attached to a replacement quote.

The technical scope goes past repair and replacement into the things that decide whether a system performs after it is installed. AC zoning systems and smart thermostats for houses that cool unevenly. Air handlers, dehumidifiers, air purification and filtration for indoor air quality, which in South Florida is a humidity problem as much as an air problem. Heat pump repair and installation, forced air systems, and radiator and convector systems on the heating side. New construction HVAC is handled as its own category. The company also uses FLIR thermal imaging as a diagnostic tool, which is how airflow and insulation problems get found without opening a ceiling.

On the commercial side the published terms are straightforward: $250 off new installations, 18 months same-as-cash financing, extended warranties, and maintenance agreements for customers who want the seasonal work scheduled rather than remembered. Service plans, specials and completed job records are all published on the site.

Ewing & Ewing works throughout West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter and the surrounding South Florida communities, and publishes its awards and affiliations alongside its hours and location.
