Sydney Wide Certifiers

Sydney Wide Certifiers is a building certification practice providing services to builders, developers, architects, and homeowners across Greater Sydney. We explain what you need, issue it fast, and keep your project compliant from start to finish. We are committed to delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant certification services that help your project proceed on schedule.

Fully accredited and regulated, with 5,000+ certificates across Greater Sydney for over two decades.

Registered as Sydney Wide Certifiers Pty Ltd, ABN 85 624 096 680, the practice works from Level 1, 30 Grose St, Parramatta NSW 2150, on (02) 9002 7484, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Its About page dates the practice to 2016 and puts the total at more than 5,000 certificates issued across Greater Sydney; a footer elsewhere on the site gives an earlier start date, so treat the 2016 figure as the one the company states most consistently.

General Manager Shane Michael came to certification from the other side of the table, running his own architecture practice for six years after more than fifteen years in construction. The team includes an A1-accredited certifier, the highest accreditation category, which permits sign-off on everything from a granny flat through to a high-rise.

Two commercial commitments are published and easy to hold them to. Quotes are free and most are issued the same day, and the practice undertakes to beat a comparable written quote by five percent, subject to its published terms.

Job administration runs through a client portal rather than email chains. Proposals, jobs, documents, invoices and certificates sit against each job, with live status visible and inspections requested through the portal directly.

Coverage runs past Greater Sydney. Alongside Parramatta and Western Sydney, the practice lists the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Hills District, Sutherland Shire and South West Sydney, and extends to the Hawkesbury, the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast including Gosford, Wyong and Terrigal, Wollongong and the Illawarra, and Newcastle.

Services cover Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Occupation Certificates, mandatory critical-stage inspections, Principal Certifier appointments and swimming pool compliance inspections. The practice states it is registered under the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018 and carries professional indemnity insurance.
