Bins 4 Less organizes its inventory by job type rather than just size: general and household waste, remodeling debris, wood and metal, concrete, dirt and bricks, and roofing materials each have a recommended container. High-top dumpsters range from 3 to 40 yards, while 6- and 12-yard lowboys are reserved specifically for dry concrete, asphalt, dirt and similar heavy material that doesn’t belong in a standard bin.

Because much of La Puente is unincorporated, Bins 4 Less can only service the unincorporated pockets of the city; the incorporated areas are handled by a different hauler. Elsewhere, the company covers select areas across Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties and can often get a dumpster to a property the same day or next day.

Rental terms are straightforward: a typical rental period runs 5 to 7 days depending on the city, orders are best placed at least two days ahead of delivery, and payment by cash, credit or debit is collected at delivery. Overweight loads on high-top containers carry a prorated $125-per-ton fee, and moving a delivered container without calling the office first triggers a $150 relocation charge. Containers cannot be placed in alleys, and securing any city permit for street placement is the customer’s responsibility.

The company also flags what it won’t take: no paint, hazardous or liquid waste, tires, TVs or monitors, or flammable material in any container, and no concrete, dirt, bricks or stucco in the high-top bins.
