Berghammer Construction is a Milwaukee-area general contractor and construction manager serving southeastern Wisconsin. The firm builds commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects, with a portfolio weighted toward the kind of Main Street and campus work that anchors suburban downtowns. Berghammer is the general contractor on The Meridian, a $24 million mixed-use development in Thiensville that brings 80 apartments over ground-floor retail near the Ozaukee Interurban Trail. The company offers preconstruction, general contracting, and construction management, and it has built a steady regional practice on repeat clients in the Milwaukee suburbs rather than chasing work far from home.

Berghammer traces its roots to 1928, when founder Edward P. Berghammer began building in the Milwaukee area after working on projects for Henry Ford; the firm moved into its 15,000-square-foot Butler, Wisconsin headquarters in 1995. Today it employs a team nearly 100 strong, many holding degrees in civil or structural engineering, architecture and construction administration.
