FlatironDragados is a heavy civil contractor headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, formed from the combination of Flatiron Construction and the U.S. operations of Dragados. The firm builds bridges, highways, tunnels, rail and transit, water and marine infrastructure across the United States and Canada, and self-performs structural concrete, earthwork and deep foundations rather than brokering them out. It is currently building Georgia’s SR 400 Express Lanes alongside Acciona Construction, a 16-mile tolled express lane project north of Atlanta with roughly $4.6 billion in design and construction value inside an $11 billion P3 financing package that closed in 2026. The company is one of the more active bidders on large demand-risk and availability-payment concessions in the U.S. market.
