Studio Gang

Studio Gang is an architecture and urban design practice founded by Jeanne Gang in Chicago in 1997, with additional offices in New York, San Francisco and Paris. The firm is known for expressive, environmentally driven buildings, from residential towers to cultural and academic work. In its home city it leads the Studio ORD team designing the O’Hare Global Terminal, the centerpiece of Chicago’s roughly $8.5 billion airport overhaul. Studio Gang combines design with research on materials and ecology, and its projects range from boathouses and university buildings to some of the taller towers built by a woman-led firm. Its work spans the U.S. and Europe.
