Power Construction is a Chicago-area general contractor and construction manager founded in 1926. Based in Schaumburg, Illinois, the firm builds across healthcare, higher education, commercial, multifamily and interiors work, mostly in the Chicago market. Power is sharing the general-contractor role with Ujamaa Construction on Advocate Health’s $320 million replacement for Advocate Trinity Hospital on the city’s Southeast Side. The company is known for collaborative, CM-at-risk delivery and a strong self-perform concrete and carpentry capability. Power is employee-owned and consistently ranks among the largest contractors working in the Chicago region.
