Skanska USA is the American arm of one of the world’s largest construction and development groups, with building and civil operations headquartered in New York. The firm works across transit, aviation, healthcare, life sciences, water and commercial markets, and is a frequent partner on large public infrastructure. In 2026 Skanska joined Halmar International in Penn Transformation Partners, the master-developer team for the overhaul of New York’s Penn Station, and teamed with Stacy Witbeck and Herzog on the construction-management contract for LA Metro’s A Line extension to Claremont. Skanska USA self-performs civil and concrete work and operates offices across the country.
