Braithwaite Group is a multidisciplinary main contractor that specialises in the delivery of construction projects and interior fit out projects on a national scale.
With over 30 years experience within the construction industry, we are a privately owned company that will turn over in excess of £25 million this year for an ever growing client list of some of the nation’s most well-known retailers and brands.
Braithwaite Group invests largely in new technology and health and safety procurements to ensure it looks after its social and environmental responsibility whilst always maintaining its core objective of client satisfaction.
Due to the constant quality of workmanship based on every aspect of each individual project across all sectors and competitive tendering, Braithwaite Group is now one of the fastest growing construction companies in the UK.
Brothers Luke and Josh Braithwaite founded the company in 2011. It trades today as Braithwaite Fit Out Limited and runs its projects from the third floor of 16 Cook Street in Liverpool, with the head office line unchanged on 0151 236 3203.
The business is organised across eight sectors rather than one specialism: new build, retail and leisure, commercial and industrial, interior and refurbishment, medical and care home, residential multi-unit developments, ecclesiastical and heritage, and demolition and enabling works. The value bands stretch just as far. Demolition and soft-strip packages are quoted from around GBP 10,000, while healthcare and care home schemes begin near GBP 300,000 and run upward from there.
Recent work shows the spread. Lidl UK appointed Braithwaite to deliver a 26,000 sq ft eco supermarket with a 3,000 sq ft Tim Hortons unit alongside it. Farmfoods Ltd used the firm as main contractor on a regional distribution centre at Cumbernauld. Closer to home, the team built a new reception for LSP inside Liverpool’s IC1 building.
The ecclesiastical and heritage line is less common for a contractor of this size. Braithwaite has carried out restoration works on church and heritage buildings around the country, which asks for a different set of trades and a different sequencing logic than a retail fit-out running to a fixed trading handover date.
Residential multi-unit work covers student bedrooms, retirement apartments and care home accommodation. Alongside the construction side, the company puts money and time into local causes, naming Alder Hey Children’s Hospital among the charities it supports.
The site also carries a Work For Us page for trade and staff applications, and enquiries route through mail@braithwaitegroup.com.
