Harmony Landscaping was founded by Gavin and Dani, who built the company in the Sea to Sky Corridor as a way to keep doing the work they cared about while settling into the community. Gavin is a certified landscape designer, Dani a certified landscape technician.

The business started out maintenance-focused and grew from there into a full-service design, construction and maintenance operation, funded incrementally through savings rather than outside money.

Design is treated as a service in its own right, not a preamble to the build. Harmony produces immersive 3D plans and detailed construction drawings so a client can see the finished scheme before any stone is laid. The approach weights plant preference against deliberate contrasts in texture, colour and form, and against the architecture already standing on the property.

The environmental commitments are specific. Harmony is a certified Invasive-Free business through the Sea to Sky Invasive Species Council, a certification that requires targeted invasive species management to be folded into every job to protect regional biodiversity. Gavin’s design credential comes from the NYIAD Landscape Design Program, and the company holds Whistler Chamber of Commerce membership.

Hardscape work extends past installation into paver repair and paving stone sealing for existing driveways, patios and walkways. Maintenance covers pruning, weeding, seasonal refresh and yard cleanups, scaling from straightforward residential lawn care up to luxury homes, strata complexes and commercial properties. Sod installation and soil delivery are handled in-house as well.
