Jason “Jay” Tuttle runs the business himself, and his background explains a lot about how the work gets done. He is the son of an eleventh-generation New England farmer whose family has worked ground in Southern Maine and Southern New Hampshire for more than 300 years, and he studied civil and environmental engineering at RIT and the University of Maine in Orono. Roughly 10,000 hours on tractors and heavy equipment sit behind that qualification, so grading, drainage and access decisions on a job site get the attention an engineer would give them.

The equipment list is deliberately compact: a high-output skid steer fitted with a forestry mulcher head. Material is cut, ground and mulched where it stands, which means no excavation and nothing to haul away. What is left behind is a tidy mulch layer and practical guidance about mowing or seeding next.
