Founded in 1972, Tri-City Drywall is one of the oldest and most reliable drywall contractors in Colorado Springs.
Residential
In residential construction, our services range from small repairs and patches to large custom homes with ornate details and textures. We’ve built relationships with the Springs’ most respected custom home builders, as well as large companies that build across the country.
Commercial
In commercial construction, we’re known for steel-stud framing and grid ceilings, in addition to drywall. Our work can be found in the offices of defense contractors, hospitals and other medical facilities, churches, warehouses, the Colorado Springs Airport, and major Springs landmarks like the Broadmoor Hotel.
Small jobs get a published price rather than a runaround. Tri-City Drywall’s minimum repair charge is $275 for two hours, with additional time billed at $75 an hour. A remodel of an existing space usually gets a site visit before a number goes out, and estimates come back by email. The company also states plainly that details submitted with a quote request are not shared, sold, or used for its own marketing.
Geography stretches well past Colorado Springs. Over more than 45 years the company has hung drywall along the Front Range, including Castle Rock and Pueblo, and up into the mountains at Woodland Park, Divide and Florissant. Monument is part of the regular working radius as well.
Much of the residential volume arrives through builders. Tri-City names ongoing relationships with Acuff Homes, Bob McGrath Construction, Comito Building and Design, Echo Construction, Herebic Homes and Herebic Properties, High Country Homes, Homes by Michael Hall, LGI Homes, Stone Ridge Construction and Tiffany Homes. Homeowners can hire the company directly too, for basement finishes, remodels and repairs, and a texture page on the site carries photos of the common finishes so a customer can point at the one they want rather than describe it.
On the commercial side the listed scope covers steel stud framing, insulation, grid ceilings, decorative soffits, acoustic tile and drywall.
Hiring is direct as well as subcontracted. Tri-City takes on experienced drywall hangers, finishers, repair personnel and steel stud framers, offering a health plan, 401k contributions with profit sharing and paid vacation. It also brings on hanging and finishing crews as subcontractors for both residential and commercial work, paid weekly and generally per sheet on new residential construction, provided they carry their own liability insurance.
