Barclay Mechanical, Inc. (@barclaymechanical) is an industrial mechanical construction contractor and shop fabricator. As such, we complete large-scale industrial construction projects that involve heavy-duty welding and installation of structural steel, pressure vessels and metal process piping. We also fabricate structural steel, pipe fabrication, boilers, pressure vessels, skids, etc. in our shop. We enable a manufacturing facility, refinery, air force base, etc. to continue or expand its operation by fabrication new additions, or repairing its facility and equipment.
An example of an industrial mechanical construction project we have done would be a refinery expansion. For this refinery expansion, we were the overseers of the entire project and worked directly with our client, engineers, subcontractors, and government agencies.
The basic work included digging trenches for the industrial process piping to be laid. Then we laid down multiple 20′ pieces of carbon pipe into the trench, fitted the pipe and welded 250′ of process piping together. The same expansion project included fabricating metal storage tanks used to store necessary gases at the refinery before they move it through the piping system. Our contract also included the structural steel fabrication and erection of a 100-foot-metal smoke stack.
