The Roofing Guys is run by Daniel Gregory, listed on the company’s site as the “Main Roofing Guy,” who started roofing in his early twenties after time spent practicing law and co-owning an H&R Block franchise. The team also includes Tes Gregory as head organizer, Randy McKisick focused on roof maintenance, Alex Layla supervising residential and commercial crews across Northeast Oklahoma, and Len Filart handling technical roofing questions.

The company has served the Tulsa area since 2018 and holds GAF, IKO, and Fortified Roof High Wind & Hail certifications for its commercial roofing work. Crews maintain active workers’ compensation and liability insurance and will provide documentation on request.

For storm-related claims, the company walks homeowners through three steps: a roof inspection with photo documentation of shingles, ventilation, underlayment, and flashing; an explanation of how the insurance and municipal permitting process typically works; and a final decision left to the homeowner once they understand the findings.

Material selection is treated as part of that guidance. Asphalt shingles for a 1,500-square-foot Tulsa home typically run $4,500 to $7,000, while metal roofing ranges from $9,000 to $15,000. Class 4 impact-resistant shingles are recommended for hail resistance and can qualify homeowners for insurance premium discounts, and reflective coatings installed on metal roofs are estimated to cut summer cooling costs by 10 to 25 percent.

The Roofing Guys serve Tulsa along with Owasso, Bixby, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Claremore, Sand Springs, and Bartlesville, with 24-hour availability alongside free inspections and estimates. On commercial jobs, the company aims to finish installations within a few days to a couple of weeks depending on scope and weather, working to keep the site clean and limit disruption to business operations.

The company positions itself as an insurance- and code-literate resource for both storm damage and planned roof replacement, aiming to give homeowners clear information about their roof rather than a high-pressure sales pitch before they choose a path forward.
