Elmsbrook Designs - Decorating Den Interiors

Elmsbrook Designs specializes in one thing, beautiful decorating. Our clients love our personalized service, customized designs, and the products that we bring together especially for them. No project is too big or too small. And don’t worry, we don’t have to do it all at once. We will work with you on a plan to bring it all together on your budget and on your timetable, all to fit your style.

Elmsbrook Designs is a studio led by one designer, Jennifer Wagener, working with partner trade specialists rather than in-house staff, and operates within the Decorating Den Interiors network.

The route into the business shapes how it runs. Wagener spent more than two decades in banking before moving into design full-time, studying at the New York Institute of Art and Design while working part-time as a designer. The project that prompted the switch was a house she and her husband remodelled at Holden Beach, North Carolina. She grew up partly overseas, including a stretch living in Guam, and now lives rurally in York County with a garden, chickens and a horse, all of which she cites as influences.

The engagement process is deliberately front-loaded. Every project opens with a sixty-minute discovery call by phone covering what the space needs to achieve, lifestyle, timelines and budget expectations, used to establish fit before any design work is commissioned. Only after that does it move to an onsite home evaluation. Consultations are booked through an online calendar, and where no listed slot suits, the studio commits to responding to an enquiry within forty-eight hours.

Beyond whole-home work, the service list covers new construction, renovations, commercial upfits and offices, vacation rental and investment property design, 3D rendering, custom drapery and window treatments, and wall treatments drawing on Thibaut, Schumacher and Fabricut wallcoverings.

One thing to note on geography. The studio is based in Rock Hill and serves York County, but its newer pages lead with the greater Charlotte area, so the practical coverage spans the state line across the Charlotte metro.
