Nomic Power Solutions is run by two brothers, Cody and Dillan Stephens, from 404 W Powell Lane in Austin. Cody came out of consultative sales and small business ownership; Dillan served in the military. The company was formed in 2023.

The scope is deliberately narrow. Nomic installs Generac home standby generators and does not take commercial work. Residential only, by design. It is an authorized Generac dealer and holds Texas electrical contractor licence TECL 39308.

What makes the offering worth reading closely is that everything is in-house. Electricians, project managers and technicians are employees rather than subcontractors, and a job includes the parts homeowners usually discover late: permits, inspections, coordination with the gas provider, system testing, and a walkthrough of the controls at handover. Sizing is done at an in-home consultation rather than from a square-footage rule of thumb.

The premise is straightforward Texas arithmetic. Grid instability and storm outages, and a house that needs the air conditioning, the refrigerator and the lights to keep running through them.

Consultations are free, financing runs through Synchrony with payments often around 150 dollars a month, and maintenance plans are available after installation.

Coverage reaches across Central Texas, taking in Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville, Hutto, Manor, Buda, Bastrop, Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Bee Cave, Lakeway, Lago Vista, Spicewood, Horseshoe Bay, Florence, West Lake Hills, The Hills, Tarrytown, Barton Hills, Northwest Hills, Jollyville and Wells Branch. Office hours are weekdays eight to six, though the brothers invite calls or texts outside them.
