Marsh Construction operates as a small, five-person outfit, according to the company’s Better Business Bureau filing, which also lists 2004 as the year the business was established — putting it at just over two decades in the Albuquerque market. A crew that size shapes the kind of work Marsh tends to take on: rather than running separate roofing, concrete, and stucco divisions with dedicated staff, the same core team handles all three trades directly, something the company ties to staying “highly collaborative” on every job rather than splitting into specialties.

That structure shows up in the level of technical detail Marsh publishes about each trade it works in. On roofing, the company explains that building codes typically limit how many layers of shingles can sit on a home, meaning a re-cover over an existing roof usually isn’t an option regardless of condition — a full tear-off is normally required instead. On concrete, Marsh advises keeping a new driveway roped off for about a week before passenger vehicles drive on it, longer near the edges, with delivery trucks and other heavy vehicles kept off for up to two weeks while the pour fully cures.

The stucco side of the business gets similar specificity. Marsh distinguishes traditional stucco from E.I.F.S., short for Exterior Insulation Finish System, a synthetic stucco assembly marketed for its added energy efficiency, and advises against pressure washing either type since a pressure washer can compromise the coating’s integrity over time.

The office is staffed on weekdays from 7 in the morning until 5 in the evening, and the company positions itself for work across a wide swath of central New Mexico rather than Albuquerque proper alone, listing Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Corrales, Bernalillo, Los Lunas, Belen, and Edgewood among the communities it serves alongside its home city.
