Steeltooth Contracting

Elevate your project with industry-leading expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction. Excavation, septic systems and grading.

Steeltooth Contracting was founded in 2021 and is locally owned and operated, working from 3553 20 Sideroad in Innisfil across Simcoe County and into Southern Ontario. Jodi and Corey are named as the principals customers deal with.

Three lines of work run under the one name, and they fit together more naturally than they first appear.

Septic is the specialism. The company handles design and planning, installation, repairs and upgrades, inspection and ongoing maintenance, tank pumping and cleaning, and emergency septic service. The design side is the part worth noting, because it covers soil testing, system design, site planning and the permit application itself rather than handing a homeowner a drawing and leaving the municipal process to them. Frost protection is specified as part of the design, which in central Ontario is the difference between a system that works in February and one that does not. The company states it exceeds building code requirements rather than meeting them.

Excavation is the second line: site preparation, foundation excavation, trenching and grading for residential and commercial projects. This is the work that necessarily precedes or accompanies a septic install, which is why one company doing both avoids a handoff.

Demolition is the third: building demolition, deconstruction, asbestos removal and site clean-up. Asbestos handled in-house matters on older rural properties, where it is the most common reason a demolition schedule slips.

On pricing, the company is unusually specific about method. A quote comes from a site meeting plus a detailed estimating program, and the stated policy is neither to overprice a job nor to underprice it hoping to recover the difference through extras. Anyone who has run a renovation will recognise why that second half is worth putting in writing.

The company describes itself as fully licensed, insured and compliant with local and provincial regulations, and says it prioritises sustainable practices and materials. One published customer account describes a full septic replacement completed under time pressure, with the company obtaining municipal permits and keeping the homeowner updated through the process.

For a property owner, the practical read is this: if a job involves a septic system and the ground around it, Steeltooth covers both ends of it, including the paperwork.
